About

We find ourselves in a world moving at an ever-increasing pace: new digital methods to streamline interactions are being invented every day. Many of us search for a deeper connectedness though. Not just caught up in frenzy and speed, hurrying towards some imagined goal to fulfil us, but a way to live life now, rich with meaningful encounters with other people and the world around us. This can be one of the reasons people take up the practice of Mindfulness: to help create more space, kindness and gentleness; to create and appreciate moments of quiet in our lives, where we can just be in a situation, where feeling alive is enough.

True transformational learning needs to involve our whole being, including body and imagination. The Play of Now offers this taster workshop based on movement and voice work. Rooting itself in the arts and in physical improvisation, the step-by-step exercises allow us to become aware of our interaction with the world.
